Chinese automaker Geely's total revenue in the first half of this year increased by 36 percent to 53.7 billion yuan ($7.8 billion), according to its financial report Wednesday.
The automobile manufacturer, based in the city of Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, sold more than 767,000 vehicles from January to June, up 44 percent year-on-year.
Profit attributable to the equity holders of the company for the first half of 2018 grew by 54 percent year-on-year to 6.67 billion yuan.
The company aims to sell 1.58 million vehicles this year.
